I’m so excited to be running my second year of Art Camp here in Port Hope! For those of you that don’t know my story, before I became a full time mom to my kids Poppy and Tate, I had successfully created my dream job in the heart of the Annex (Toronto) – an art centre called The Messy Monkey. What a magical experience! I spent my days covered in paint, glitter and glue, laughing and creating. 

Making art with kids has always been a passion of mine.  Prior to opening The Messy Monkey I worked in childcare for many years.  It was a hard decision to close that chapter of my life but after spending so many years sharing my love with other people's children I was ready to give all that I had to my own. Fast forward 6 years, 2 kids later and a big move to our new home in Port Hope and I am beyond excited to begin this next chapter of my life by opening my second art studio, Art Barn!

We are so lucky to have found such a cute and unique space to convert into our studio! It's the perfect place to create while enjoying the fresh air during these beautiful summer months. Art Barn is located around the back of our home in the space formerly occupied by Any Old Thing Antiques.
